Sam was packing her things away when the student who had asked what was probably the only real provoking question of the day approached her. She paused and smiled a bit at his continued enthusiasm. He reminded her of Daniel when he got a head full of steam over some new alien language or artifact.
"Yes, I flew out for the course and don't fly back until Sunday evening." She finished sliding her notes into her briefcase and noted the young man's attention was not just to her presentation but to herself. He was a college student, what..maybe 20? 21 tops. But he was cute and he had that trembling sort of excitement that always got her attention.
Sam bent to pick up her purse and coat from behind the lectern and rose to tuck both over her arm. "Most of what I discussed isn't exactly stirring conversation for most people. And I've had a long day already if you want to pick my brain you can do it over food at my hotel. Is that alright?"
