The trembling did make her pause as did his words, not from fright, more from wonder. Cassie was doing this to him. And it wasn't like she'd never touched his chest before, they'd gone swimming and stuff like that...but this was definitely different.

She did trust him. Possibly more then anyone else on the island except Kon and Cissie but that was a completely different kind of trust. That was the trust Wonder Girl had to have in her teammates. This...this was just as deep but just for Cassie. Just for Sam. It was strange but...wonderful and she wasn't going to back away from it. Not while this feeling was so intense.
