[ooc: Long story short, Cain pushed the button and Sam got cursed with a Saw trap. He was put in one a few years ago when he first got to the City by the girl from Saw. He thinks she's back and is doing this again. Voice for replies, action for Rosella.]

[OOC: That was indeed a car mentioned, but she doesn't know how to drive it so the point's kind of moot. Really, she's just hysterical and trying to get anyone she can to come running, so I don't really have a set plan for how it's all going to work out. >>]

[ooc: ;-; Poor Rosella. I don't know how much help Penny can be since she's wigging out herself, but she can drive or call an ambulance. Or flail with Rosella!]

[Have some whimpering and sniffling and "trying very hard not to cry" noises in reply.]

[OOC: I'm totally playing it by ear. Penny's coming, Cain's coming, Rosella's spazzing, Sam's bleeding...it's a madhouse. =D]

[After some navigational errors, Penny finds the proper building (guided in no small part by Rosella's whimpering). She doesn't know what she's doing.

The only good thing about this is that Sam was hurt before Penny threw her box and inadvertently pushed the button.]

Rosella?

[By this time, Rosella has probably gotten a hold of Chase and is following the instructions he's giving her, putting pressure on the wounds and whatnot. She also looks absolutely terrible and is basically covered in blood.

And it happens that she's so focused on what she's doing that she doesn't actually notice Penny is there.]

[Rosella has every right to be distracted. Penny navigates around Sam, doing her best not to look too much, and crouches in Rosella's line of sight.]

How's he doing?

[Besides 'not well.']

[She starts a little when she finally notices Penny, but then it's quickly back to business. She nods at the arm she's not currently putting pressure on.]

We need to--to find a vein and push on it, between his shoulder and elbow, and push as hard as you can--can you do that arm? Please, he said it'll help make the bleeding stop...

[She nods in return--a perfectly good means of communication, nodding--and gingerly prods Sam's arm. Vein, vein... a little medical knowledge would go a long way right now. She applies pressure to the limb and hopes someone more qualified to help shows up soon.]

He'll be okay.

[She can basically parrot Chase's instructions to the letter, since she's making sure to adhere to them as closely as humanly imaginable. If Sam's life is depending on this, then she's going to do exactly what she's told.

Which means, conveniently, she can also show Penny exactly how to do it, and does.]

[Penny readjusts to follow Rosella's example.]

[She squeezes her eyes shut, focusing on the task at hand and not all the myriad of emotions that Penny's question just made her painfully aware of.]

[And she's started sniffling again. But really, what does someone say to that, anyway?]

[It occurs to Penny that she's not helping Rosella's state of mind all that much. As such, she goes with a nod and a safe standby.]

[She nods weakly in reply.]
