[ooc: Long story short, Cain pushed the button and Sam got cursed with a Saw trap. He was put in one a few years ago when he first got to the City by the girl from Saw. He thinks she's back and is doing this again. Voice for replies, action for Rosella.]

[In retrospect, maybe pulling the lever as hard as she could hadn't been the best of ideas. Then again, going slow might've been even worse--but none of it mattered, anyway, because she was much too busy diving to try to catch Sam. She missed by a split-second, but still ended up kneeling on the floor next to him, covering her mouth and trying not to cry.]

[Though she would if she had to. But moving Sam at the moment really didn't look like the best of ideas, and she was afraid to hurt him any more than he already was. Which left two options, really: calling for someone else to help, or taking a chance on teleporting them there, and hoping it didn't drop them in the ocean instead.]
